Gilded [ARC REVIEW]

An eARC of this book was provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I had the chance to fall in love with The Lunar Chronicles earlier on in the year so you can imagine my excitement when a new Marissa Meyer book appeared on NetGalley. A Rumplestiltskin retelling, too (I fell in love with Small Favors recently, another Rumplestiltskin retelling), and I have a huge soft spot for any kind of fairytale or folklore influence. This one is set in Germany with a lot of nightmare horror and gothic elements, and it truly feels like Meyer did her research when weaving in these elements.

NaNo 2018 Updates

Beautiful People’ is a project created by a book blog that I love (Paper Fury), aimed at writers. They used to post a list of ten questions for people to answer every month, designed to help you get to know their characters – their quirks, their flaws, their personality, and who they are. Let’s begin!

‘Your Story’ Tag

It’s currently National Novel Writing Month and, as I am participating in NaNo this year, I thought I’d dedicate all blogs and YouTube videos I make this month to my current project. This week I’m going to be doing the ‘Your Story’ tag, which I currently can’t find the creator of. If I do find them, I’ll update this blog.

This story is called ‘Heart’ and it owns my heart.

Let’s begin!

Why I Write

It’s currently National Novel Writing Month, so I thought that I should post at least one thing that acknowledges it. It had now been acknowledged. Time to get to the purpose of this post.

A few weeks ago, I asked some of the Movellas about why they write, and the responses were quite interesting. In honour of writing month, I thought I’d share some of those reasons.

So, let’s begin!
